Raku firing workshop providing instant gratification for artists. Glazed ceramic pieces are removed from the raku kiln at around 1850 degrees Fahrenheit and placed in combustible material to produce flashing, crackle effects and rainbow metallic finishes. Learn glazing methods, safety procedures, and firing techniques. Students must have bisque-fired work ready to fire and can fire up to 3 pieces. Potluck event—bring a dish to pass.
