6-week hands-on course exploring ceramic hand-building techniques using clay slabs to create functional and decorative forms. Covers surface design techniques using underglazes, sgraffito, slip inlay, painting, stamp-making, carving and shellac-resist etching. Includes 6 class sessions, 7 weeks of open studio access, 25 lbs of clay, glazes and firings.
