Come learn about these incredible geologic features and the human history surrounding them on our weekly Mineral Springs Walking Tour! This easy, downtown walking tour will take you through both geologic and human history as we explore the namesake of Steamboat Springs. Plus, join us monthly for a special guest host– Colorado Mountain College’s Geology Professor. RSVP Encouraged but not required! Where to Meet: We will meet in the Steamboat Art Depot Parking Lot (1001 13th Street) at 8:50am. What to Expect: This walk is broken into two segments. The first hour covers ~1 mile long and is mostly flat along city sidewalks. The second optional trek to Lithia Springs covers another mile and has some elevation gain through residential streets.
