It’s been a little bit but we’re back with stop #3. Riding bikes is part of Steamboat’s culture. With the increase in E-bike use there are more issues related to speed and safety. Routt County Riders, in partnership with the Parks and Recreation department, are hosting E-bike and bike safety popup events on the Core Trail with the City of Steamboat Springs Community Service Officers. The focus being E-Bike/Bicycle Safety and Education! This summer, we are choosing education over regulation, focusing on fostering a local safety culture through community outreach. We want everyone to be able to enjoy our multimodal trails and use bikes for recreational and commuting safely. Look for our outreach booth where we will be sharing resources, safety tips, and trail access information. So stop on by for a chat as you enjoy another great summer in Steamboat.
